The forthcoming book Human Resource Management in the Nonprofit Sector: Purpose and Passion, co-edited by Cary L. Cooper and Ronald J. Burke and published by Edward Elgar Publishing Ltd, will include the chapter on “Nonprofit Brands and Brand Management” by Nathalie Kylander, Adjunct Lecturer in Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School and Senior Research Fellow at the Hauser Center.  Kylander is also one of the lead researchers on the Hauser Center’s Role of Brand in the Nonprofit Sector project.

In the chapter, Kylander defines brands and branding for the nonprofit sector in comparison to the for-profit sector, proposes a new nonprofit branding model, and explains the implications for brand management and human resources.
